More than a national stage, the Swiss Nuadthai Championship may also become a gateway to the world stage.
Selected winners will have the opportunity to continue their journey and represent themselves at the World Championship in Thailand in 2027 — progressing from a national platform to an international world-class arena.
It is a space where talent is not only seen — but recognized, honored, elevated, and given the opportunity to rise beyond borders.
Registration Fee:
CHF 230 for 2 categories, including a lunch box and soft drink.
Registration Requirement:
Each applicant is required to register for a minimum of two competition categories. The registration FEE of CHF 230 covers participation in 2 categories.
Applicants who wish to enter additional categories beyond the initial two may do so at an additional fee of CHF 100 per category.

Competition Categories

01.Nuad Thai for Health
This category reflects traditional massage practices passed down through communities and cultures. Performed on a mat or massage table, the practitioner may use various body parts such as thumbs, fingers, palms, forearms, elbows, feet, shins, and knees—without the use of oils. Techniques may include stretching, pulling, pressing, or dynamic movements. Recipients must wear loose, comfortable clothing.
02.Nuad Thai for Relief
This category integrates traditional Thai massage with other therapeutic techniques, focusing on specific symptoms, pain, or targeted health conditions—such as trigger points, lymphatic drainage, sports massage, myofascial release, or neuromuscular techniques. The therapist works on specific areas of the body using Nuad Thai in combination with at least one other therapeutic method, whether Western or Eastern. The massage can be performed on a mat or a massage table, with or without the use of o
03.Nuad Thai Inspiration – Freestyle
This category encourages creativity while honoring the roots of Nuad Thai. It allows for global influences—whether from Western, Eastern, or contemporary wellness trends. Participants may freely incorporate diverse techniques and tools.All adaptations must prioritize safety and serve as a creative expression of Nuad Thai, maintaining deep respect for its traditional Thai heritage while embracing international innovation.
04.Nuad Sport
Focused on muscle recovery and physical performance, this category is designed for athletes and physically active individuals. Techniques combine traditional Thai massage with advanced therapeutic methods, such as: • Deep Tissue Massage • Myofascial Release (MFR) • Muscle Energy Technique (MET) • Manual Stretching (MEM) • Neuromuscular Therapy • Joint Mobilization and Functional Movement Supportive equipment may be used, including foam rollers, fascia tools, kinesiology tape, percussion massage
05.Nuad Thai Wellness
A massage competition focusing on relaxation and the promotion of well-being, with massage oil used as the primary medium. This category represents a holistic approach to massage that emphasizes care for the body, mind, and overall balance of the receiver.This category places importance on gentleness, continuity of movements, massage rhythm, communication through touch, and the creation of a deep relaxation experience within a wellness and spa context. It does not aim at medical treatment.
